Systemic abuse of authority has been going on since the dawn of America and Spike can tell you about some abuse he witnessed in Tompkins Square which started a riot ending up in the newspapers.

Rodney sat across the park. Panhandling, coins in a coffee cup. Working his way up to a 40. Police van rolled up. Racial profiling, they threw Rodney on the wall. They beat him up bad, thought no one was looking...the concert music got quiet. The crowd turned around and shouted, STOP! Police Brutality must stop! Only the poor & minorities are choked and shot. Stop the violence, defund the police! Before they choke or kill, you or me! Racial tensions escalating over systemic injustice. Police are killing unarmed black men. Illegal choke holds suffocating. All we see, officer's knee, George Floyd's neck...I CAN'T BREATHE! Police Brutality Must Stop! Poor minorities choked & shot. Stop the violence, defund police! Before they choke or kill, you or me! Police brutality. Don't be a victim! Stand up for your rights. Make a change!
